The Temporary Energy Emergency Fund, supported by the central government, is there for vulnerable families who have lost a disproportionate percentage of their income on energy costs due to the energy crisis and the associated increased energy costs.

Families who are losing a disproportionate share of their income to this will get financial help from the emergency fund. Part of their energy bill will be paid (retroactively). This applies from 7 February and covers the period October 2022 to March 2023.
