What are you going to do?

Growing Employee Pot AnthuriumsFor our relation in Moerkapelle we are looking for an enthusiastic Growing Employee Pot Anthuriums. Diplomas are not required, just a positive attitude!

What does the job entail? You are responsible for harvesting the plants. You are also responsible for widening the plants using a fork-lift truck. Cultivation planning is part of your responsibilities. After a thorough training period, you are also responsible for scouting the plants. 

The tasks at a glance:

• Harvesting the plants
• You widen the plants using a forklift truck
• Maintaining and executing the crop planning
• weekly scouting the crop for e.g. diseases and pests
• Where necessary you do small maintenance in the nursery.

What are your working hours?

Working hours are Monday through Friday and are between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. During busy times, working hours may vary slightly. Occasionally, work is done on Saturdays.

Where are you going to work?

The history of the company begins as early as 1908. Vegetables were grown in the open ground on about 2 acres. It wasn't until 1975 that the third generation introduced floriculture. Today, anthuriums are grown at two locations. At one location these are pot anthuriums and at the other location cut anthuriums. The company is MPS certified and thus shows to stand for sustainability and quality. A very nice progressive company to work for.
