As a phalaenopsis order picker, you are responsible for accurately and efficiently collecting phalaenopsis orchids according to order forms. You ensure that the correct plants are selected and safely placed in trays before being brought to the packing department for further processing.

In this position, your work mainly consists of packing and order preparation of plants. In addition, you may be asked to help with other work within the company.

Our Company is looking for a motivated and independent production worker to strengthen the team. As a production worker, you will be responsible for harvesting, planting, and bundling flowers and bulbs. You will work in a dynamic environment where variety is central.

Harvesting: In the greenhouse, you walk through the rows and pull the flowers out of the ground. Using a small knife, you cut off the root. Then you place the lily on a conveyor belt behind you, which transports the lily to the shed.

Planting: Using a planting machine, you plant the bulbs in the ground. You help ensure the smooth operation of the process and provide proper support to the machine.

Bundling: In the shed, you work at eye level. You check the quality of the flowers and make sure to group flowers of the correct length together. They are then placed on another conveyor belt where an elastic band is placed around them.

In addition to harvesting, planting, and bundling, your tasks may also include sorting lilies and packaging flowers. It is important that you pay attention to quality and can work well independently.

For our client in De Kwakel, we are looking for a Printshop Employee. Your tasks will consist of mechanically labeling covers. You will check if the labels are printed correctly on the covers, and you will be responsible for setting up/adjusting the machine and filling it with labels. You will also be involved in printing labels. After an introductory period, your tasks will be gradually expanded.

No two days are the same in the position of all-round/expedition employee. The work activities consist of

Work preparation for the stick department:

• Preparing tables for the sticking process.
• Preparing carts with flower pots for the processing of orchids.
• Assigning and supervising employees at the tables.

Supervision and quality control:

• Ensuring that the sticking process meets the established quality standards.
• Communicating with employees in English and/or Dutch.

Training new employees:

• Explaining rules and procedures.
• Informing about work schedules, breaks, and other important matters.

Entering results:

• Tracking standards and production results using a digital application.

Support in the transport department:

• Organizing space and materials for further production activities.
• After gaining experience as a team leader, taking responsibility for the transport department.
