What are you going to do?
Working as a forklift operator among potted plants
Do you have extensive experience operating a forklift with telescopic forks and enjoy working in an active environment? Then this could be the perfect job for you!
We are looking for an all-round forklift operator for a large and modern plant nursery. In this position, you will play an important role in moving and positioning potted plants throughout the greenhouse. You will regularly operate a forklift equipped with telescopic forks, making sure the plants are moved safely and efficiently to the correct location.
In addition to operating the forklift, you will assist with other greenhouse duties when needed. You will work closely with your colleagues and help maintain a clean and organised working environment.
For this position, it is important that you have proven, recent experience operating a forklift with telescopic forks and hold a valid forklift certificate.
What will you be doing?
- Safely moving potted plants using a forklift
- Positioning and collecting plants using telescopic forks
- Moving materials throughout the greenhouse
- Supporting colleagues with various greenhouse tasks
- Keeping the workplace clean and safe
What do we ask of you?
- You would like to work in horticulture
- Flexible attitude and good motivation
- You love flowers and plants
- Experience in horticulture is a plus
- Speaking English or Dutch language is a plus
- You live in the region
